Welcome To The Lancaster Rotary Club

Our club was the first in Lancaster County, chartered June 26, 1940.  It has been our club's honor to sponsor the Lancaster Breakfast Club, the Indian Land Club and the USCL Rotaract Club.

We have a great mix of members - from the young thirty-somethings with their energy and enthusiasm to the veteran ninety-somethings with their wit and wisdom.  About 40% of our club is made up of women - and that number is rapidly growing - watch out guys! :)

Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

Rotary membership provides the opportunity to:

  • Become connected to your community;
  • Work with others in addressing community needs;
  • Interact with other professionals in your community;
  • Assist with RI's international humanitarian service efforts;
  • Establish contacts with an international network of professionals;
  • Develop leadership skills;
  • Involve family in promoting service efforts.

We welcome you to visit our club.  Be prepared to laugh and have a good time.  Oh, and bring a couple of single dollar bills to donate to our Alzheimer's' Research Trust fund and the local charity selected that day.

Meeting Information

Our club meets every Thursday. Lunch is served at 12:00p, with the official meeting starting at 12:30p. Visitors are asked to pay $15 for lunch. The Carole Ray Dowling Building is directly across the street from the Gregory YMCA on the USC-Lancaster campus.
